I love movies so this is going to be very difficult for me... but here goes, in no particular order:
LOTR Trilogy: I absolutely loved these movies and try to regularly watch them... can't wait until we get them on Blu-ray.
V for Vendetta: Possibly one of my favourite movies ever. Everything about it, i love. Fantastic movie.
The Hangover: Funniest movie I have seen this decade.
Wedding Crashers: Second funniest movie I have seen this decade... loved Vince Vaughn in this one!
Gladiator: Great movie overall. The action and acting were both top notch IMO.
The Dark Knight: One of the more compelling movie experiences I have had in a long time. Heath Ledger as The Joker is the best villain I have ever seen.
Star Trek: The franchise I have always loved makes a huge splash in its return from obscurity! Love the new cast, love what Abrams has done with the universe so far... looking forward to more. Saw this one in the theaters SIX times... enjoyed it immensely each time.
Serenity: I absolutely loved Firefly. One of my favourite series ever... and I am so sad to this day that it was only 15 episodes long! Serenity was a miracle of a movie. How does a series that was canceled half way through its first season get a movie made? A huge groundswell of support. The movie was fantastic and a treat for Firefly fans everywhere who were looking for a little closure.
No Country For Old Men: One of those movies that just grabbed my attention. It is mysterious and compelling and fantastically acted.
Shaun Of The Dead: For a huge Simon Pegg fan, this was the movie that introduced me. Simply hilarious and a movie that has provided me with quotes to last for years. One of the best in Zombie-Comedy.
Honourable mention:
Zombieland, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Accepted, Bourne Trilogy, Reign Over Me, Stranger Than Fiction, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl, Live Free Die Hard, Kingdom of Heaven: Director's Cut, Into the Wild.
