Don't tell my family this, but one of the things I loved about living in Italy was that I didn't have to see them very often. My family is pretty big, so there's always a birthday or something just around the corner. Add to that my parents are divorced, means that I have to do every thing twice - actually 3 times because of my grandma and aunt and uncle.
Three thanksgivings, three xmases, three easters... April has three easters, plus my dad's bday, my sister's bdays, and now my neice's bday. October has my bday, my sister's, my mom's, three thanksgivings. December is my sister's bday, three xmases, then my other sister's bday.
In other words, I see too much of my family. I loved living far away.
