Second quarter is the opposite. Burris and company connected and Nik Lewis finally have his first TD of the season. Rob Cote I think was the offensive player in the first half for the Stamps. Obviously he is trying to make us Stamps fans forget Teyo Johnson.
3rd quarter, both defense (BC and Calgary) took over the game. Both Printers and Burris were harrassed all quarter and were ineffective. In the 4th, both offense managed to score a TD and the ended up close. It was a nailbiter especially after BC scored a TD with a little over a minute left. Lots of time left for Burris to get the field goal range. 2 important first down pass and Joffrey Reynolds to the rescue.
That was some pressure Printers were getting all night. The BC OLIne and QB Printers will have nightmares seeing Charleston Hughes and Jim Davis coming down to pressure the QB. The inexperience by the BC Lions OLine actually showed especially in the 2nd half. C Dean Valli messed up a lot of plays for BC. Calgary won 28-26, a field goal by Sandro DeAngelis.
One thing that I enjoyed the most was seeing Jojuan Armour missing tackles and was a non-factor all night. I am so glad that Hufnagel got rid of that overpaid bum. I didn't like him when he was in Calgary last season and I still don't like him now.
If Winnipeg wins tomorrow against Montreal, there won't be any crossover in the playoffs. It means, Edmonton and BC are fighting for the playoff spot next week. Saskatchewan and Calgary are fighting for 1st place and loser gets to host the Western Semi-Final. The only way there is going to be a crossover is if Winnpeg lose both their remaining game. I love it!! Last week of the season is so important for all 4 teams in the West and 2 teams in the East.

interesting game indeed,
there can still be a cross over if winnipeg wins next week, but edmonton and BC would have to tie. assuming that game won't tie, its a win win for me as i don't want the crossover to happen but also want hamilton to get the home playoff game. either way im happy. next week will be great!
