I gave my opinion on how I would have handled it, not how I think you should have. Thought that was pretty clear when I said "Personally I would..." and "Just my personal opinion...". Guess I should have been more clear.
I gave an example of which you would have probably been pretty pissed if someone took the chance for your mother to get it when she needed it. But I guess you skipped over that part just to get a little sympathy for "being the bad guy".
