Any type of mayo based salad, or sandwich filling, mayo wins in a landslide. I love egg salad with mayo, but once its switched to miracle whip, I am always thinking it tates like spoiled eggs.
The only draw I can think of is tuna. I can go with either. On high quality albacore, mayo would be preferred. On the cheapie skip jack stuff, I find Miracle Whip kills the overly fishy taste it seems to have sometimes.

This exactly, except for one thing. My homemade potato salad has to be miracle whip. I can use less of it to get more flavour and I hate overly creamy potato salad. Having said that, my potato salad does have mustard in it as well, but that's the exception to the rule. .
