I for one simply can't afford to get drunk with the ridiculous prices that most establishments have. Hell, I could spend $100 at a night club and not even be tipsy. I usually spend as much at home as I do at the bar. If I drink a 12 pack before I go then I'll spend another $20 at the bar. Then again it takes A LOT of liquor to get me drunk so it just isn't feasible to get drunk at a bar. I'd have to show up at like 6pm. Hockey games are worse. Beer is SO expensive.

Seems fair right?
Nope, not buying it. Nothing drives me more nuts than people that go to places(bars, clubs, cafes etc) and think that they're not required to buy something from the place or if they get a beer and hold it for an hour that they're doing their due dilligence. If you can't afford to go to bars, then stay home. It's not a riddle. Getting drunk or going to a bar is not is not something you need to do, it's something you WANT to do. Get the priorities straight and you will have more money. I don't make good money by any stretch, but I don't go to bars and clubs,.....maybe once every 3-4 months and I get by just fine.

This is not meant at a shot at you, it's more just a generalization.
