It really depends on the application in my opinion.

On poultry based sandwiches, miracle whip is awesome.

On bovine based, definitely mayo. Anytime mustard comes into the equation Miracle Whip is a no-go for me.

Any type of mayo based salad, or sandwich filling, mayo wins in a landslide. I love egg salad with mayo, but once its switched to miracle whip, I am always thinking it tates like spoiled eggs.

The only draw I can think of is tuna. I can go with either. On high quality albacore, mayo would be preferred. On the cheapie skip jack stuff, I find Miracle Whip kills the overly fishy taste it seems to have sometimes.
