As for the original topic, the National Post never seemed to be worth subscribing too. The Globe and Mail is a fair superior news service. Great new website too.
I am pretty much there already. I usually do the same thing, just on my iPhone. I have all the local papers mobile sites linked, along with the globe and mail and CNN and it pretty much gives me the news fix I need. Streamlined, to the point, and without the fluff and very little adverstising.
