You're sitting at a stop light; why is it that the person who wasn't paying attention, the person who didn't move when all the cars in front of them moved, why is that the person who always gets through on the yellow and leaves the unfortunate vehicles behind to sit through another cycle?
Why do people always point to Calgary c.2000 when lack of attendance is given as a reason to relocate teams? Isn't there a difference between fans who don't go because a team is inept vs fans who will only go when the team is a winner? Attendance woes are a symptom, is the cause a crappy team or a lack of caring? A cough can mean a cold or it can mean H1N1. Correlation <> causation.
