I've read that it is estimated that 875,000 people in alberta will contract the h1n1 bug and 400 will die. That is a very small amount. I do think the media has blown it out of proportion. I am at home sick with the flu right now, I am on day 2 and am feeling much better, Do I have h1n1 I don't think so because I yet to have a cough and fever, seems like the regular flu to me. That being said I do have asthma from allergies but I don't need any medication for it, I've never needed the puffer, I've never been hospitalized and I've never missed exercise and work because of it. I will get my shot hopefully monday because I don't need to infect everyone else standing in line. I will be royally pissed however if I am turned away because there dosages are running low as I will have to miss work for it.
