LOL! I had to check if this was an Onion article or something.

The guy on the left reminds me of Facepaint's old Mike Keenan Avatar....

OK, they can't be that dumb that they thought this would obscure their identity. Were they trying to darken their faces so as to hide in the dark better? (like a Special Forces guy in camo face paint?).
