What's the average American doing?

That is a very good question. Unfortunately, at the moment we are dealing with a vaccine shortage. We have been told by our doctors that they have no more vaccines in stock and are waiting for more shipments. In one case we were told this could take until December. Several vaccination locations have been temporarily closed because of lack of stock.
Most Americans (I am Canadian) I speak with will get the vaccine (this may have to do with where I work and the education of these people

just kidding) and at the moment as you have stated they do not have a choice, in terms of adjuvanted or not.
To answer your question I would accept either vaccine; which ever is available first in my case.
