Except that Nirvana were anti-tapers. Listen carefully to some of your boots, you'll hear them pointing out and calling out tapers in the crowd. You can even hear an example of this on Muddy Banks, I believe, which is quite ironic considering it is a commercial bootleg of sorts.
I dunno, maybe they had an official stance and a personal stance - it's been a while since I really cared either way (will be getting this release though)
