One disconcerting thing last year was this 16 year old girl (I'm guessing - she was older than most trick-or-treaters), going door to door alone, dressed as a cheerleader came to my door and said that she was really thirsty and wanted to come in for a glass of water. I had already reached out with the pop to hand to her and she said "Oh, perfect. Thank you." and left. But I was like, girl, you're 16, dressed in a short skirt and you are inviting yourself into a strangers home? Oi.
