Optional OS components aren't included in the minimum requirements maybe?
IE8, shadow partition or whatever they call it, etc..

Can't say I paid that close attention to my disk space when I was playing with the beta/RC... on a 250GB drive gaining or losing a couple GB isn't the end of the world.
