Perhaps I was being unfair or perhaps the point in moot. Honestly though, I'd like to know how close in price someone could get. I don't want a netbook but from what I've seen I can get a Winderz based laptop that match my specs for the 6-800 range. Not sure if I can get a Mac for something close to that, but I really don't know for sure. I see a price of ~1100 for a 4.7lbs Macbook or the price of ~1300 for a 13" Macbook which I'm not sure how heavy it is. That's the price off the Apple site so I'm not sure if that's a good comparison or if they are cheaper from Mac dealers.
