the office is my favorite show on television and pretty much the only thing on network TV i still watch. i disliked the show at first but ended up getting hooked because of the other shows that were on before/after it. i personally love the character development they have had over the years.

i think one downside is the number of relationships in the office. that is one reason i am glad the holly character was just temporary. (though i love amy ryan and wish she would have stayed on) but there are just so many different couples in a small office.

also, i think they need to lose a significant character. i love everyone on the cast, but there has really been no change in the office. there has been turnover at corporate with the jan and ryan stuff, and even change in the warehouse with roy, but the biggest office loss was devon early in season 2 and he wasn't a sifnificant character at all. everyone else that has left has been someone that was added for a short time. to me, it makes it seem less real as every office experiences turnover, and it also makes things stale as there is just less change to keep the show fresh.
