It isn't bad everywhere. Even in aforementioned Banff I had terrific service a couple of months ago when we had a nice dinner. That said, being a person who has worked in the customer service industry in the past, I notice a lot poorer service than I have before. This year I let the manager of a shop I have frequented for years that I wouldn't be back due to piss poor treatment from his staff. They didn't even seem to care.
