Well, aside from the beer and wife beating comment I do agree with the sentiment of this post. This whole thing has turned into an 'us' vs 'them' case where rationality has left the building last July when the initial deal failed to close.

The city and the province have to seriously take a step back and realize that the Tsu Tina land was given to them by Treaty 7 and they can do whatever the fata they want with it and if that means turning down an extremely lucreative deal most likely to their long term detrement, then so be it.

This 37th street overpass is a terrible half measure (I would rather call it a quarter measure). Honestly before anything is done the city and the province should be surveying the weaselhead and estimating costs el. My bet is that the weaselhead option is much cheaper and will result in less trouble long term than dealing with the Tsu Tina. Then after going ahead with these new plans, leave all access roads to the reserve alone, including the Grey Eagle access, to avoid pissing off the natives into trying to argue something out of their jurisdiction to slow up the process(Ie: The weaselhead lands created in 1929 when the Glenmore reservoir was created are sacred because 'Insert BS stretch arguement here')
