The government will cave and the city will cave to the band and its the wrong thing to do. The right thing to do would be to dissolve the reservation system and integrate them into Canadian society, its not doing the natives any good and its become a completely corrupt system where few in power get rich while the rest suffer.
All the money that was going to go to them in the ring road system would have ended up in the pockets of the chief and his best friends.
