It might be friday and I'm on the computer (and probably going to bed soon) and I'm not drunk, but I'm having a great day. Woke up, had breakfast at this run down Chinese supermarket (cause I was supposed to meet a friend and carpool, but he was running late) but had an awsome breakfast. Went rock climbing at Mt Diablo, and did what is probably the most popular route in the bay area (before Lovers Leap, Yosemite, Pinnacles, Joshua Tree which are not Bay area)... got to do 2 other routes that were difficult, but i managed to complete them (after lots of work on balance and core strength the past few months). Good weather, good friends, we did climbing beside a few guys who were US military (special forces, I think?) and were doing some crazy repels and other stunts they do as part of their military training and I got to give it a try, pretty fun - like dropping down 60 ft face first/down like a repel, except you don't have a break and you are basically running downward a vertical wall 60 ft high. Got a text reply from that cute girl I met a few weeks ago that I thought she wasn't interested when she didn't give me a call/text but turns out she lost her phone/numbers and said she was interested. Met another cute girl, interesting, intelligent and loves the outdoors today. Soccer tomorrow, a bit of work during the day then I'm getting drunk in Mountain View tomorrow.

Not bad after a ty weekend last weekend (had a bad soccer game and got sidelined, got injured, side swiped by a car, frustrating weekend on one of my design projects, and made a small mistake (wrote 145 instead of 195) and lost 13% on my midterm)
