First off, this thread is not for Saw haters. If you don't like the franchise, that's cool. It's not for everyone. No need for "I hate Saw" or "Why are they still making these movies" kind of posts.

I just got back from Saw 6. I'm a huge fan of the franchise. Seen every one in the theatre on opening day, buy each DVD on opening day. Can't get enough of the story. Saw 6...I loved it. It has everything that we've come to expect. The story moves along nice and fast, and it keeps you thinkin the whole time. The question marks from Saw 5 get answered and in this one, there isn't a whole lot that hasn't been answered. To be honest, it's first Saw movie where I have thought that they could end the series and I would be happy. Also, another thing I liked was how they added a real social lesson to this movie, they had stayed away from that for a couple movies now.

They have signed on for Saw 7 and it's gonna be done in 3D, so that will be an interesting, albeit gimmicky twist.

The trademark traps are pretty good in this one. Maybe not as elaborate as previous ones, but there's plenty of difficult choices facing the victims. The gory scenes are just as bad as previous, but I have the to say, the opening scene was probably the most gruesome of the 6 movies.

If you're asking where I would rank it. I don't really like to that because to me, Saw is one big long story and I find it hard to separate them. But if I had a gun to my head, I would say Saw, 3, 6, 2, 4 and 5 would be my order of preference. I just can't get enough of this story, I find it really intriguing. Yes, it's stupid, far fetched and silly, but whatever, it's not art......It's SAW!!!!

If you're not a fan, or haven't seen the previous sequels, don't bother going. You will be bored and lost. If you have been a fan of the franchise, it's a must see.
