My buddy bought a right hand drive Skyline...personally I think a lot of it can be attributed to those damn Fast and Furious movies. Everyone got a hard-on for RHD drift cars.
They're a vehicle I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole though. My cousin's a mechanic, and he swears up and down that you should never buy one. Lots of mechanics won't touch them since everything is backwards. Add that to the fact that lots of parts have to be imported and therefore are way more expensive, and it just adds up to be one expensive bill when you have something go wrong. And being as the thing is 15 years old, something is bound to go wrong.
