International players can make domestic players better with a good manager. ManU is a good example of young English players blending in with international superstars. As opposed to what they are doing now, i.e development of young players and throwing loads of money at duds from around the world.

The sad fact is that neither of the old firm has managed to produce one decent homegrown talent of any impact since Kenny Daglish.

Is it crap players or crap academies ... probably a mixture of both.
