Do you agree or disagree with this? I think the idea is that anyone who needs body armour must be up to no good. This could be the case most of the time, but it just seems wrong to me. I mean, if guns are not banned, why should something that protects you from guns be banned?
The government is saying that it gives police another tool to recognize who the bad guys are, but if they are wearing body armour, I'd say that there is a good chance that they are doing enough other illegal activities that the police would be able to pick them up for.
