At first, I thought that sounded like good, common sense advice . . . . . . as long as your baseline is that we're all going to be immolated on some arbitrary date in 2012.
Then I started to think further . . . .
"bury myself in the ground in case the sun explodes."
Then I'm wondering,
"How deep does my hole have to be to excape the sun exploding? And how long - aside from forever - do I have to stay there?"
Maybe the right answer is to just believe the sun isn't going to explode and take my chances.
Also, sidebar, what kind of bars do I have to hang out in to find a wife who also thinks the sun is going to explode AND that we can escape by digging a deep hole.
