Something I've thought about in the past as well. Where, and who, would I be if my dad hadn't died in an accident when I was 3? Or my family if my aunt wasn't killed?
Of course, one could debate forever whether or not changing such things would actually lead to an improvement in life. The question is, can we defeat fate in that matter?
If we can though, I'd take GTF's plan and expand on it. Buy Nortel in 1990, sell it in 1997 at its peak, then short it. Get em both on the upswing and the decline.
