My mom wrote instructions on how to do laundry in our laundry room, so that's how I learned to do it myself. In the building i'm in now, there's a huge sign that tells you how to do laundry and operate the machines and what cold and hot water is for. If you're clueless, all it takes is a little reading. Not that difficult.

I Iron every once in a while too. I wear a lot of shirts that require ironing, but I hate doing it cause it takes a good chunk of time, but it's not hard to figure out. I'm pretty sure I figured it out by trial and error.

I like cooking so that's ok for me. I pretty much make every meal myself. I hardly eat out at all. I also don't have a dishwasher, so I have to clean all my dishes by hand. That takes a good amount of time as well. Living on your own takes a lot more effort than living at home, but it's worth it to have your independence.
