I think it's very well-written considering the subject matter, and I doubt very much that Michael C Hall, who if I recall correctly is also the producer, would let the writers explore a plot twist that adds nothing to the show other than pointless complication. I'm not saying that it's impossible, I'm just saying I'm willing to pony up actual cash that it won't happen and I'm confident enough that I'll give odds. Is that so terrible?

I just love that it is both thrilling and funny at the same time.
My 2 favorite previous TV shows (Rome and The Sopranos) were both quite serious, at least 95% of the time.
Dexter is clever, suspenseful, serious, hilarious and exhilarating all at the same time.
