The original pube eating post was in regards to Gio playing for the Flames ever again. Since then it has turned into a CP meme.

Not sure if it was real or not because Bingo and the mods keep stuff like that fairly hush, hush, but AFAIK it had to do with someone claiming that Dohboy frequently knowingly lied in his column just to stir the pot.
Basically it was libel/slander. Also a judge had just made a ruling in Ont IIRC that things posted on a message board can be considered slander/libel and the owners of the message board had to pay damages for allowing such content to go unpunished.
Personally I think it is a joke because frankly it is freedom of speech and I hardly consider posting on CP "publication" which is required for slander/libel to be real.
Bottom line is that if it was true and what the poster said wasn't totally crazy then Dohboy is just a jackass.
