The reason why they have public skating is because they already have a time for sticks and pucks: shinny. Yeah, sometimes you get a bunch of idiots who still think scouts are watching them, but until the outdoor rinks are done, this might be your only choice. That, or if you can get a bunch of people together, you can rent out an arena.

I understand, and didn't think it would just be a blanket public skating / free for all. I just figured there might be some hybrid time set aside somewhere.
