Well Weir did beat Tiger head-to-head in the last Presidents Cup at Montreal.
And in the 2003 Masters, Tiger came into Sunday 2 strokes behind Weir (who was himself 2 strokes back of Jeff Maggert). So Weir beat the field AND Tiger (who was going for his 3rd in a row), Vijay, Phil and Jim Furyk, all who were within a few strokes of Weir on Sunday at Augusta. A few "decent players" there.
Weir won The Tour Championship in 2001. Yeah Tiger was in that tournament as well.
So Weir has beet Tiger both on Sunday, in a Majors and head to head.
He is arguably the best golfer every to come out of Canada; to try to minimize his accomplishments is petty and ignorant.
