I live in Lower Mount Royal and it was a gong show this morning. 14th Street SW was closed down south of 17th Ave SW. Saw tons of cars spinning their wheels and a bunch getting stuck. Surprise, surprise; they all had all-seasons.
Even though I have my Nokians, I decided to walk to work instead of risk getting stuck in traffic, or worse.
If you don't want to spend the time and money on winter tires, that's fine. But on days like today, leave your car with your crappy balding all-seasons at home.
