A few years ago there was a relatively minor news story about Rico Fata (I don't actually recall what it was- place on waivers or claimed off waivers?) Anyway- there were about 10 threads started at the exact same time with the same news article. So at that point the term for a duplicate thread was coined as a "Fata."
Also, on our previous forum software we had the ability to change specific words. For example, during the 04 run no not jinx anything we made the software say "Big shiney metal thing" in place of "Stanley Cup." We also added the word "fata" in place of anybody who used the F-word.
