Bouma will be signed soon:

The Calgary Flames are expected to announce in the coming days that they have agreed with Bouma, the Giants’ current captain, on a three-year, entry-level deal.

“This is huge for my confidence. I don’t have to worry about when they’re going to sign me or if they’re going to sign me. I can just go out and play my game, and that will help me out and hopefully help our team out.”

“They know my style,” said Bouma, who is playing alongside league-leading scorer Craig Cunningham (5-8-13) and J.T. Barnett mostly this season. “I’m not a guy who is going to get a lot of points. I’m going to get in on the forecheck, I’m going to be physical. If I get points, it’s a bit of a bonus.”
