Its a disgusting sentence, I don't care about the apology to the family, thats more about a person being sorry that they were caught and putting on a show for a guilible judge. He whiped out 5 people because he's a selfish dangerous drunk and he serves less time then a pick pocket.
There's something wrong with our criminal justice system, or there's something really wrong with the values of the judges who continually give out light sentences or slap people on the hand in the misguided hope that these evil people will ever change their way.
You can bet that three years down the road this scumbag will be picked up for drinking and driving with a suspended sentence and he'll get some nice comfy house arrest.
I'm completely livid, he'll probably also serve his sentence in one of the nice cottage jails where the inmates have little bbq's and 9 hole golf courses to pass the day away.
