Yeah it's nothing earth-shattering. It was just refreshing to see. I certainly can't play like that on the fly. She threw in some interesting bits of jazz and classical in there, and the music was phrased nicely, so it wasn't just your typical three-chord four/four-timed pop cookie cutter stuff. Plus she did a good job of playing to the local crowd rather than sticking to set lyrics.
Was the playing and singing 100% clean? Maybe not. But the audience clearly enjoyed it, and that's really all you can ask for.
