I sometimes entertain the idea of leaving California for somewhere less crowded, less financially strapped and slower paced. Its just hard to pry myself away from the weather and my location. I'm a half hour from the beach and 90 minutes from snowboarding. If I had to live somewhere cheaper, I'd probably choose Phoenix over Florida because I can't stand humidity. I don't stress out about natural disaster like hurricanes because I've been raised in earthquake country. I've learned its pointless to worry about something that may or may not affect me.
