In terms of sports, LA always strikes me as more of a "we're a fan of whatever of our teams is doing the best" type of fickle sports town. It's a big reason why when it looked like the Saints were going to move there a few years back, I was seriously considering dropping them as my favourite team. I can't cheer for a team who play in a pathetic, frivolous sports town.
