If you have Telus phone and internet, then adding a second line for TV won't cost you anymore(except for added cost for TV and possibly installation costs plus you get your added $5 bundle discount). You just have to set up one phone line to have TV and phone(or another DSL plan), and the other DSL only.

If you don't have home phone then yes adding another line would be a lot more expensive.
