You are mistaken. There is a line. Racial slurs, for example, are over the line. Verbal abuse is over the line.
I don't think anyone here is disputing their right to spread their message and protest. Their methods, however, I find to be juvenile and repulsive. Which wouldn't matter too much, except that, when I was a student, they would interfere with my walk to class. Grotesque pictures and accosting passersby is not a mature or effective method of spreading a message, in my opinion. They are getting noticed, but for all the wrong reasons, and are disrespecting me and everyone like me who just want to go to class.
Free speech is an excellent right to have, and I'm glad Canada endorses it. It is up to the people to exercise it appropriately.
