What i do for now is:
1. make sure i have clear passing lane
2. kinda stay still once its clear
3. hold vision control
4. hold right stick up (and aim) when i see a pass coming my way.

But this doesn't work very well if the pass is coming from the right (i'm left handed) because I will end up doing a backhand. And sometime I end up doing 1-time wrist shot.

I had a very hard time doing 1-time slap when i am moving around so I think staying still is easier.
If i have to move around, i just take control of the puck then shoot.

Please let me know if there is any better way to setup 1 time slap.
Is that what you did when you scored off my pass the other day? Because that was great.

I think positioning is important and so is the quality of the pass.
