Am I the only one that thinks it's just a little bit ironic that Driveway is adamant that there is no causal link between speed and frequency of accidents, and then finishes his statement with the implication that there is in fact a causual link between speed and accidends (though in this case the opposite of what one would expect).

Also, just because there hasn't been a demonstated causal link between the two, doesn't mean there can't be a strong correlation. Whether this correlation exists or not I don't know, but there is definately a correlation between speed of accident, and severity of injury which is what was originally implied by the "You could kill someone at that speed" comment.
