I was told, by a police officer no joke (so don't come down on me for wasting the courts time or having no respect for cops) that you should fight every ticket you get. Often you'll get the demerits taken off if you agree to plead. Sometimes the officer doesn't show up and you don't have anything.
Course this only works if you can work your schedule around it.
However, if you already HAVE the demerits, I think you may just have to live with your suspension. I'm not sure how they can go backwards to remove it off your record.
And you don't wanna turn a 1 mo suspension into a 1 year one by trying to drive on a suspended license. They NEVER look on that favorably.
