I've had this camera for almost 2 years and everyone in a while would get a lens restart error, turn off the camera and it work fine. I tried to turn it on today and there's a long buzzing sound and then the message LENS ERROR, RESTART CAMERA. The camera does turn on briefly before shutting itself off and I can't do anything.

I have no warranty so according to Canon it will be at least $100 to fix it. So:

Does anyone know any good camera techs in Calgary? Canon now has none.

OR

Does anyone know how to fix this error or have had this problem? Thanks
