It's not really commercial insurance, they likely want you to get a PAL policy if you plan on having liquor served at the reception hall. The hall doesn't want to be liable for any actions of your drunk friends after they leave hence drive drunk and kill a family. It's liquor liability and your insurance office should be able to offer you something but they usually take it to a special insurance market to get the event placed. They should facilitate everything for you at the insurance office though.
