Or Russian can take advantage of it. I like Putin he's my kind of diabolical evel genius.

I've always been fairly negative on the missile defense concept because firepower always always stays ahead of armour. Offense always progresses before defense, so while a missile defense system might work well against old technology delivery systems is small numbers, it probably wouldn't work well against hundreds of todays more advanced ballistic missiles.

I'm all for putting a missile offense system in place myself. Enough missiles to shower every man woman and child with a generous multi tonnage delivery.
