There was a couple of us that bought the same tickets, and I think one of the people in that group was in tight with one of the Oilers higher-ups. I think he was the reason they did this for us (likely wouldn't have happened if it was just me). They couldn't really take him and not us when we were all sitting in the security office in the depths of Rexall together. I was grateful none the less.
Even better than that was that when we were up in the press boxes we had like our own little assistant (basically sent there to ensure that none of us bothered any of the players or media), and anytime we wanted something (popcorn, pop, etc.) we would have it brought up to us free of charge.
The funny thing was, the dumbass that sold us these tickets actually left his real contact information. I received my payment back to him in full (gave him ten minutes to resend my paypal money before I called the cops). Little did he know, the Oilers were already in contact with the police.
I got the best seats in the house for nothing
