Why does listening to metal mean I am down on society and have long hair? I know you mentioned stereotypes, but don't belittle another genre because your perception of rap is "music".

I listen to metal because guitar actually takes skill and effort, and I stopped listened to "rock/heavy rock" because all the lyrics were about the same stupid things. "I can't get this girl, come to me baby, blah blah blah". And before you say "all metal lyrics have to do with blood, death, killing", they don't, read a book.
