Go to London Drugs, they usually have excellent prices on counter top microwaves. Look for the Panasonic Inverter, the 1.1 cu foot should cost around $159 to $209 depending on if sale etc. It comes as two models, one has a regular touch button styling, the other has that plus a round knob. The regular touch button styling is easier to use, both work great though.
Removal of nutrients during cooking of foods depends on a couple of factors.
The heat used, the amount of water used, and the amount of time cooked. Most vitamins etc are water soluble so try to cook with the least amount of water as possible and for a short period of time.
